Sorry dear but the Avalanche has been more like a rolling turd for some time now. They don't have a lot of Canadian players like the champion St Louis Blues do ;D

He'll like it!!  Report back!!

@Bart Ell Thanks, Champ! Those are good.
Rolling turd!?! We're doing better than you think.  ;)

He loved it! We started losing him in the 3rd...but he had a lot of fun. I had forgotten how fun hockey games were to go to.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Where your seats at?  A lot of people (and I agree) think hockey the best live sport to watch as it translate live better than tv.

The Red Wings are pretty bad this year, so a good chance you guys win. Have fun
We were seated high, The Can is set up so there really are no bad seats. It's a great hockey venue, not that great for concerts. I agree, we used to go to a lot of hockey and we had a great bar where we'd go to watch all the games if we weren't going live. I don't enjoy watching hockey on tv at all, but live is really fun and the crowd is always fun too.

I don't know about the Canadian sperm angle, but I suppose you may know more than I in that arena.  ???
A few, nothing like the old days. These boys are all young and dare I say...pretty? *shaking head*

@PolkaDot I believe the AV's like many teams right now are in a rebuilding phase so that means a lot of young guys with teeth. Give them a few years and they'll earn hockey face.

Speaking of fights someone on the jumbotron was proudly sporting a Claude Lemieux jersey- to mixed crowd reviews. LOL

The Turtle.  I wish McCarty had more time to bust his head open.

Of the major team sports, hockey is the best spectator sport to see live.  On TV it's the worst.

The anger is fresh!
That was some crazy animal shit. I bet the refs hated those games.

I'm a Penguins fan and we saw enough of him when he was in our division.  He was dirty.  Yeah, I'm sure the refs wanted no part of that but they did do a great job of deescalating it.  Him going into the turtle position shows what a cheap shot pussy he was.  Pardon my French.  ;) ;D

I'm not going to defend him, he never, to my knowledge apologized for what he did to Draper. It was brutal. But McCarty hit him pretty freaking hard, Lemieux probably saw a glimpse of night and instinctively did that out of preservation not because he was a pussy. Biology.

Guys like that, out to hurt other players, that's not sport.  They deserve to have their knees liquified.

Understood.  Nonetheless, he knew what the consequences of his actions could be and he wouldn't face it head on when retribution was at hand.  Hence...pussy.  I give him credit for his offense capabilities.  He wasn't a goon.  However he didn't like to take what he dished out.  ;)
