They pronounce it Montreal Nort.
It's an Italian, English, French mix.

Marinaro also ripped off his entire shtick from the legendary Ted Tevan.
Ted was on in Windsor / Detroit for a few years so maybe @Walks_At_Night heard him, too

@Bart Ell  you really know your stuff.  I like that Italian Dictionary. Philadelphia is made of of many neighborhoods. At one time, South Philly was know for it's Italian shops and restaurants. Marinaro and Ted Tevan would fit right in with the locals.
South Philly--A section of the city of Philadelphia that seems not to be governed by law but rather local custom. If someone is not treating you with respect you get mean, angry and LOUD.
Last Friday, I had lunch in South Philly shop. One of the employees was not treating me with respect. So I had go South Philly.  “YOOO! You are pissing me off! Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah ...”
All was well after my opening words. I am not Italian. However, over the years, I have learned how to go South Philly.

@Walks_At_Night OK so now that the little team that couldn't, did! Do you switch to the Rangers or Lighting for the big prize? There is no right or wrong answer to this, just asking. I know alot of people who just wanted vegas out but will now root for The Rangers should they pull through but if the Lightning prevail these same people will in the Go Habs camp.   Everybody throwing their hockey votes all over the place.

To be honest @KSM , I'm not a big fan of hockey teams located in cities without snow. I understand it is good for the league and hell, the Hurricanes play just around the corner from me. It doesn't seem right somehow. So I guess, go Islanders.
