SWEET BABY JESUS @Bart Ell  :o
The FLYERS are my home team. :'(
Just like Youppi, I was adopted by the HABS.  Since May 2021, I am more familiar with the Canadiens. Carey Price, Dominique Ducharme, Josh Anderson, Joel Edmundson, Corey Perry, Nick Suzuki and Shea Weber.
Jake Allen, you got to be kidding me. I will be listening to Tony Marinaro tomorrow morning on TSN690.
I have stopped listening to Jason Myrtetus = Host: Flyers Daily. No one connected with the FLYERs has the eye of the tiger.

Did I ever mention Marinaro hates me because I called him a Slow Adult Porky Pig with Ralph Kramden hair?

Judge for yourself!

Considering the success Vegas had grabbing MA Fleury, I would think Seattle would make the claim for Price no matter the Price (ha see what I did there)

Good to see a TIGER in this tread @TigerLily  :)
Eye of the Tiger" is a song by the rock band Survivor.  It was the theme song for the 1982 film Rocky III. In Rocky 3 a statue of himself is placed on the stairway by the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I have visited this statue many times.
Rocky fights Lang = MR.T at the Philadelphia Spectrum. Rocky regains the EYE and has a rematch at Madison Square Garden in NYC @anniem   ;). The SPECTRUM is where the FLYERS (NHL) won the Stanley Cup two times. I have a red chair from the Spectrum in my home. As watch NHL games, I look for a team, a player or a coach who has the Eye of the Tiger.
I don't understand the name of the Climate Pledge Arena. The arena is currently undergoing redevelopment work at an estimated cost of $1.15B.  :o

Hello Lady @FISH 😺 I was in Philadelphia once. First stop after seeing the Liberty Bell was to "run" up the steps to the Rocky statue. I had the Tour de France on in the background the other day. They interviewed this one rider. I thought his eyes were glowing like two coals from the pits of Hell. I thought, "He has the Eye of the Tiger". Or performance drugs. He won climbing Mont Ventoux that day. I loved " Supernatural". I watched all. What? 15? seasons of it.  Seattle's hottest day this year - so far - was 106°. Washington's worst fires ever were the 2020 Labor Day Fires. Burned 410,00 acres, caused by high winds sparking downed power lines. The second and third worst fires were in 2015 and 2014. 556,000 acres burned. Same county. Same reason. All the floor sweeping in the world wouldn't have helped that. The new sports arena will be the first carbon neutral arena ever built. Hence the name. You gotta admit. Kraken is a kickass name. I've always hated the Seahawks

Why @Bart Ell why?
I was better off only listening to TONY.
How do you manage to have so many people hating you?

@TigerLily I never watched "Supernatural." It was not easy for me to find time to watch a TV series. I used to have a very tight schedule. I looked up this TV show. It seems that music played a major role on this show. The state of Washington-the state of Grunge music. Nirvana was formed in Aberdeen, Washington. I don't know much about the state of Washington or a carbon neutral building.  @wr250 would approve of the name-Kraken.

So I guess now that the NHL season is over this thread becomes an anything and everything thread. Hell, even Lily's posting in here now.

You crossed a line. I understand that the offside rules may be difficult to understand but you need to understand the pucking rules.
Are we having fun yet?

Congratulations for not calling it offsides.

I learned long ago that was if I was going to wave my stick I shouldn’t face the goalie.

The worst name is that.  Leave it to the swishiest state of them all, right @TigerLily ?  Washington may as well be part of little trudeau's cantada.
