I think they're still trying. Clearing cache ETC. Not working.
In the meantime. I just came in to the office for a bit and one of the two functioning (of 6) elevators is making a screeching sound almost like it needs oil, or like an old fanbelt before it finally snaps. I'm going between the 22 and 6th floor off and on... it sounds like a freefall box-death waiting to happen! Every time I have to go to another floor I am now sending the problematic elevator to the ground floor and using the normal sounding elevator. But still... the screecher seems to want to be the default as it KEEPS ON OPENING AND REAPPEARING every time I hit the elevator button! This building has an elevator history of malfunctions. No deaths... yet. But there's always a first time.

Anyone want a few Les Pauls?
Well, when the workload goes from something like 16.5% to 50%, I can imagine that they need tuneup and maintenance at a higher frequency. It could be serious. Maintenance is often overlooked by bean counters. They are the types that don't change the oil and never fill the tires of their cars.
Do you have any Les Pauls (iOS voice recognition insists on spelling it less poles, hahaha) with P90s in them? Sign me up!
Do me a favor, get in and hit every button. Do that a couple of times...
