My cats are entering late middle age and definitely are not tolerating hard rock like they used to. I had Linkin Park on today. It suited the weather while I put away groceries. And two of them were giving me serious stink eye. The other one was nowhere in sight (or sound). I settled down to read and put on Albioni.They almost sighed with relief.
I think I am taking the cat lady thing a bit too far. What do you think @sean92008 ? Who else is owned by multiple cats?

The cat overlords are just biding their time until they decide to to filet us like in the book "To Serve Man."

One thing I have been doing for years though, I am very cautious with volumes and air pressures. Since their hearing is much more sensitive than ours, I figured a popped balloon would be. I think it's worse for dogs, but fireworks scare the fuck out of them and that's pretty far off.

I was stuck behind somebody driving a Subaru Outback who was randomly hitting their brakes with no reason and going up a slightly inclined offramp, again hitting their brakes with no reason.

I started screaming as my impatience grew. It was an old lady, wearing a mask all alone in her car. Presumptively, she's wearing Birkenstocks and probably uses pine needles instead of a tampon if she hasn't withered up yet. God, The stereotypes! Subaru sucks.

Sat down to eat breakfast at my front window only to see a guy sitting in one of my chairs just outside. He's like 4 feet from me just sitting there with his face in his phone. Random dude in my little seating area as if it's a public park? Not causing any problems, he's harmless but I was torn on opening the door to ask "Can I help you?" but again, he's not causing trouble in any way.
Fuck-it. An aggressive RAP-TAP-TAP on the glass to get his sudden attention. Stands up as he's turning around only to see me in all my annoyed glory. He walks away. I enjoy my perfect breakfast.
