Nothing wrong with the store itself. Ketchup sardines are a crime. Yuck. I will take a longer look next time I'm there. Looked like they had everything from toilet brushes to screwdriver sets. With the prices so low in there it makes me wonder what the catch is if these are actually quality-ish items. Had another can of DEENZ this morning with my eggs and sausage. If those things are any indication of the quality of
There are at least a couple different chains, and they carry different things. Some of what I buy are items that don't have to be quality, plastic cups, napkins, spoons and forks for parties, sandwich bags, freezer bags, trashbags, smaller bottles of shampoo, toothpaste, sunscreen, detergent, things like clothespins, safety pins, all sorts of cleaning products, snacks, spices, cans of beans, office supplies. I'll buy small tools if they are either decent quality like putty knives, electrical tape, or single use, things like that. So probably not socket sets or batteries. Things that are worth about a dollar, but sell for $5-10 elsewhere, or in larger quantities. I save money there, but there are products I would pass on. I think people should at least know what's available.
Years ago Target had a few shelves of travel sized products - toothpaste, shampoo, and so on, some of it reminds me of that.
... Maybe you shouldn't be so judgmental of your brother and even me. But go ahead... dinkface...
I'm not being judgmental, I don't want that strong fishy smell. He gets them at the dollar store too.
Why would you not want to be seen coming out of the dollar store, eh? ''Feeling dirty'' and not wanting to be seen seem judgmental.
