I only found out about Ian Punnett recently and was saddened by the bad news.

After I heard, and because of Ian's Plochman's mustard story, I ordered a bottle of it to gift to an associate who loves mustard, but was unfamiliar with Plochman's.

We all grieve differently.

I did not know Ian Punnett had died. I appreciated him on C2C. I am sorry to hear this. Of course Norry keeps ticking

I will pull up an Ian show and listen tonight in fond remembrance. Rest in Peace and Thank You

The stories of how encouraging and inspiring he was with his students and colleagues made it all of the more sad.

Mike Brumley - baseball, 61. Car accident.

The name was familiar. Turns out that he was involved in trades in including Dennis Eckersley, Bill Buckner and Rich Gossage.

He created quite the problem for MLB. He worked for a casino or a gambling company or something.

Still does I guess even in death. Is Barry Bonds the greatest living baseball player now? I guess he probably is, although one could make a case for Mike Schmidt or even Johnny Bench.

To those candidates I'd add Pete Rose & Reggie Jackson

Heh heh, in that case we're going to need a pitcher - Roger Clemens?
