What is your favorite donut?

Chocolate Old Fashioned.

I think it's because they have a higher ratio of surface area, so more crunch - like waffles as opposed to  pancakes.  Plus, chocolate.

Those are few and far between out here.  I understand they are huge on the East Coast - and famous for their coffee.  Every once in awhile someone brings in a box - they're ok but too much sugar.  Not nearly as over overly sugared as Krispy Crème though.  I like the small independent donut shops.

Fun fact:  years ago Dunkin Donuts changed the spelling from doughnut to donut, and it stuck

Yeah, well, just know next time you're screwing up the eggs and making a mess, I'll be enjoying a fresh crunchy donut..

My goodness, this important thread took off while I was elsewhere. @KSM is right - 2 eggs in a skillet. I’ve come to like stainless steel as well as cast iron. @StarrMountain ’s recipe looks very good. Butter is essential. @PolkaDot a scramble is not the same but is good. @GravitySucks a scramble is where one uses four, five, six eggs. @Bart Ell the Apostrophe Preservation Society has given up the ghost, but I’m glad to see you haven’t.
Now the question for argument - must an omelette have cheese? And who here thinks Velveeta counts?
Merry Christmas - Nice things, and posts, are nicer than nasty things.

I am the breakfast king.

No matter what you say @GravitySucks @juan the best omelet is a TWO (that's 2!) egger. Two large eggs to perfectly coat the bottom of most skillets. We'll start there. Anybody else got an opinion? Let's go!

Pictured is my divine ham n cheddar from Tuesday morning.

I see no filling in that omelette, it just looks like limp eggy thats been attacked and flung in a frying pan. I bet you put the cheese in the middle you dirty boy.
Give pees a chance.

Not a fan of the greenery in that one, or the open sore on the top, but it’s a step in the right direction!

Velveeta is one chemical molecule short of being edible plastic.  You’re gross @juan   unless you use the Velveeta with jalapeños. Do they still sell that?  I haven’t had Velveeta in at least 30 years.

Are we having fun yet?

I do like the coffee. Beans or ground can be found in most stores where I live. I didn't know that fun fact.
I know more now than I did before.   ;D
